Explore Baku

Relish a yummy breakfast and get ready for a spectacular tour of the city. Start with a visit to the iconic Flame Towers and ride the popular Ferris wheel, Baku Eye (entrance excluded). Next, wander in the scenic Boulevard Park and take the Funicular ride (entrance included) up to the Highland where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Baku City. Then, witness the splendid Crystal Hall and learn about the various Azerbaijani weaving techniques of different time periods at the Carpet Museum (entrance excluded). You will also get to spend time in Little Venice, a charming area with man-made waterways. While the city is renowned for its distinct architecture, the old quarter is a completely different and exotic experience! Admire the rustic charm of cobbled alleyways, old gates, walls and more in Icheri Sheher. Then, marvel at the magnificent Shirvanshah Palace (entrance excluded) and enjoy the view from the top of Maiden Tower (entrance excluded), a 12th-century monument. After a wonderful day, return to your hotel in Baku and relax.

Visit Ateshgah & Yanardag

After a hearty breakfast, head out to experience why Azerbaijan is known as the Land of Fire! Make your first stop at the Ateshgah (entrance included), an 18th-century fire temple believed to be a place of worship for Hindus and Zoroastrians. Enjoy learning about its mystical significance and history as you admire the architecture. Next, visit the burning mountain of Yanardag (entrance included) on the Absheron peninsula wherein the land burns due to natural gas reserves. It is one of the most unique phenomena to witness! Later, head to the Heydar Aliyev Centre (entrance included) boasting architectural brilliance inspired by the landscapes of Azerbaijan and marvel at displays in the Vintage Car Museum (entrance included).

DAY 4

Experience Qobustan

Savour a delicious breakfast and leave for a spectacular tour of Qobustan. Explore the famous rock petroglyphs featuring thousands of rock boulders with engravings at the cultural reserve and delve into its history. From hunting scenes, people, ships, constellations and animals, you will witness intriguing drawings from the pre-historic era here! Later, head to the rare Mud Volcanoes along the coast of the Caspian Sea that are still active by the vintage Lada Car to experience the offroading. End your exciting day with a visit to the historical Bibi Heybat Mosque and return to your hotel in Baku for a cosy overnight stay.
